Oh no I have the Sunday night blues; the hols are over, in 10 hours there will be 6 children running round the house, at this very mo I am supposed to be planning out my activities for the week and have just realised I haven’t set up my new spreadsheet for the year, oh well I am sure I will be fine just winging it – I only jest I am very much in control, kinda.
So what have we done this week…? I have been out visiting people, which has been brilliant, I have managed to catch up with a couple of friends I haven’t seen for years and I popped in to see Bestie, I love that I can stalk her now, oh the benefits of driving.
Golden Boy got to use up some energy at some soft play.
Some park play.
(Biggy isn’t really in disguise, he’s just not that keen on his picture being on here, but I really like this father and son pic).
Golden Boy was very brave with feeding the swan.
But what has stuck in my mind all week has the been The Walking Dead finale; I bloody love that programme! The week between episodes seems so long, I love the characters, I love the zombies, although it keeps me awake at night with some very odd and creepy zombie dreams. There are some characters that I dread being killed off and we all knew the final episode of this series was going to be dramatic and horrible and at least one of our beloved characters was going to be killed off and they built it up and up and then gave us NOTHING, they left us hanging, again, we now have months of boring speculation, ugh so frustrating!
I suppose I should go to bed now so I can be fresh and alert for my little buddies in the morning, but who I am kidding, I have had a couple of awful nights after a week or so of doing alright, poor old Golden Boy had the side of his cot taken off last night as we are trying for some dry nights now he has got the days sorted, oh yes our little man has done it, he is potty, nope actually toilet trained – potties are for losers, he is a big boy and insists on using the loo without a little seat, he has fallen in a couple of times, but they are the risks he is willing to take – anyway we took the side of his bed off yesterday but we don’t have a bedrail, and thought because he is only a few inches off the ground he will be alright. We were wrong, he fell out of bed last night 4 times, each with a loud thud, and one of the times he must have done it without my hearing and gone back to sleep on the floor and I was woken to his screaming where he had got his head wedged under bed. So side back on bed tonight until a bedrail is bought. But all that drama, plus some wide-awake insomnia has left me tired, and there is no way it is just going to be a 2 night run, I am prepared for a tough week I just hope the people around me are too, sorry guys xxx
