I am loving the Easter Break: having time off work, Biggy spent a week with us – Golden Boy couldn’t have been happier. There have been Easter Egg hunts for myself, Smalls and Golden Boy (I won the best prize with tickets to see Beyonce!) I have eaten my bodyweight (which is ever increasing) in chocolate. We had a couple of visits from Nanny and Grandpa A; when they collected and dropped off Smalls and her cousin, when they took them for a week away where they had lots of days out (highlight being Alton Towers), the girls had several teenage moments which I think tested some patience but luckily they are well-loved. First Born scarily turned 21. Have caught up with different friends and had some lovely nights out. My new little car got squashed by next doors fence (and junk piled against fence) during the storm – but she survived without a scratch – although I might have changed that today as I drove into someones hedge trying to avoid a lorry carry an effin huge mobile home down a rather narrow road, almost pooped my pants. But other than that has been a lovely time recently.
Never too big or small for an easter egg hunt.
A trip along the canal to see the easter bunny.
Mummy and Golden Boy went for a drive and explored Midhurst.
A duck race and an Easter Egg hunt. Biggy was unimpressed with the box of teabags and cup he won in the raffle.
After a carbohydrate loaded starter and main course this was a perfect pud at Pizza Express.
A trip to a farm.
Golden Boy’s first bike.
A trip to another farm.
We actually got to spend time with First Born and took him for a family birthday meal.
And what have we watched recently:
10 Cloverfield Lane – hmmm loved the first film and this was a good film, if you weren’t looking forward to more of the same. Mission Impossible Rogue Nation – love it, action and fun. And we introduced Beauty and the Beast to Golden Boy (or in his words Beautiful and the Beast), my fave Disney film.
